About Us
Kingley&Posh has been decades in the making. Fresia Rodriguez remembers being 5 and making dresses out of bed sheets --at least trying to-- in her New York City home. She vividly remembers her mother teaching her fabrication and an appreciation for quality construction. Fast forward through college and a career in media, in which Fresia’s stories appeared in such publications as The Washington Post, The Hill newspaper and various prestigious magazines, Fresia decided to leave her journalism career to follow her heart in fashion when her husband, a former marine deployed to Iraq. Seeing that life can change in an instance, Fresia decided dreams shouldn’t wait and enrolled in the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her goal: to feel fulfilled as a woman and to launch a label that embodied beauty and sophistication, honing the aesthetic her mother had help nurture years ago. After her husband’s return and two years later, Kingley&Posh is the fastest growing label catering to the curvy, beautiful woman.
